“Vandalised Phone Box” is an installation artwork created by the artist Banksy in 2005 as part of the Conceptual Art movement. The artwork showcases a traditional British red phone booth that appears to have been violently distorted and laid on its side. Notably, an axe is embedded into the structure, and red paint, mimicking blood, drips and pools beneath it, giving the impression of violent mutilation. This piece of installation art makes a bold statement on urban vandalism and societal decay, consistent with Banksy’s radical and thought-provoking style.
